Obsidian Spire Rules and Regulations

•Hello there traveler, and welcome to the obsidian spire!!! This is a forum where non human identifying individuals come to gather and talk in a friendly, laid back place with no judgment or pressure! Everyone in the otherkin community is welcome to be here. In order to keep the forum a place where everyone feels comfortable however, we need to lay out a few necessary rules that everyone needs to follow! By making an account here on the obsidian spire, you agree to follow the rules and be respectful.....

•It is a requirement to be respectful to the other members of the forum. Don’t start making inflammatory comments to provoke a response or an argument. Don’t be disrespectful to someone. Even if you are in a heated debate with someone you need to be responsible and be respectful to the other party.

•Elitism of any kind is absolutely unacceptable here in the spire. Everyone is on equal standing, and the scales are not tipped in any direction. It doesn’t matter who you were in your true life, or what standing you believe you have in the otherkin community. Mind your manners. Elitism also includes promotion of misanthropy.

•Admins exercise the right to ban anyone from the forum who has done either of the following; harassed or have earned the mistrust of the admins, engaged in harrasment campaigns, hold elitist, offensive, or inflammatory views, have been known for causing trouble in spaces, and similar actions. If you believe this rule is being abused by an admin, do not hesitate to contact @lunastredraconis

•Racism, harassment, discrimination, and promotion of violence is not allowed in the spire. Anyone caught holding violent ideologies or promoting them will be banned. Depending on the severity of the actions, we may also report you to the proper authorities.

•The minimum physical age for being in the spire is 16 years of age. Anyone caught lying about their age will be banned and blacklisted from joining the forums in the future. This is simply for the safety of members and adressing the fact that most members here are adults.

•Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, hence you cannot make grandiose claims that cannot to proven by simple science and physics. What counts as an extraordinary claim includes claiming to have special powers or knowledge, being able to physically shift, claiming to be a chosen messiah, and otherwise. Additionally, do not promote cults or cult mentality of any kind.

•Planning otherkin meetups and howls are not allowed on the obsidian spire. This is for the saftey of other members as anything can happen when you meet with someone online, and a lot of those things can include being harmed.

•You don’t have to be a perfect English speaker to join the spire. Everyone speaking different first languages are welcome to speak here. It doesn’t take any effort to put words in a translator, or understand what someone is saying, even if the English isn’t absolutely perfect.

•Despite all of the rules laid down here, just have fun! This is a place where everyone is welcome and accepted. The rules are only here for making sure nothing bad happens and no chaos is unleashed in the obsidian spire. If you have any questions about the rules, please feel free to contact the moderators!
